How to Edit a Schema in Wotja (Pro mode only)

Tutorial assumption: The latest version of Wotja is installed on your device and you are using it.

Schemas are complex, but, as they are used to generate "Flows", Auto-Mixes, Auto-Albums and also used for Mix randomisation, they are also fundamental to how Wotja operates. The best way to learn about what each Schema Item does is to read about it in the User Guide. Note that Built-in Schemas cannot be edited but duplicate Schemas can be - see Create a Schema.

  1. Select the Schemas Tab:

In the Documents screen select the Schemas tab.

  2. Edit a duplicated Schema:

Tap on any non Built-In (i.e. duplicated) Schema's Actions button and select "Edit" in the pop-up menu.

  3. Modify the duplicated Schema:

There are a large number of parameters in the Schema, i.e. basically everything that is needed to specify how an Auto-Mix, Auto-Album or Flow created.

The relevant settings in the Schema are ALSO used when randomizing a Mix or Cell in a Mix. See also the tutorial Select a Schema.

For some of the Schema items (e.g. Templates, Synth Presets, FX Presets etc.) the Actions menu has different options, e.g. relating to selection/deselection.

Tap on a Schema Item in one of the following Item groups to edit it:

    • Templates
    • WAE Network Presets
    • Visuals
    • Mix/Main
    • Mix Cells
    • Cells
    • Albums/Flow
    • Automatic Text Change
    • Cut-up
    • Text to Speech
    • Reset
      • Tap to Reset all Schema items to default values.
  4. Save/Discard changes to the duplicated Schema:

Tap on the Schema file "X" button to close the Schema and to see a pop-up dialog where you can Save or Discard Changes.
