Mix Text Sequencing

How to Use Mix Text Sequencing in Wotja

Tutorial assumption: The latest version of Wotja is installed on your device and you are using it.

1. Create your story in a text editor & copy it to clipboard:

2. Open Wotja and Select the Mixes Tab:

   In the Documents screen select the Mixes tab.

3. Select the Schema to use for a new Auto-Mix:
   1. Tap the Add Mix File button.
   2. Tap the 'Select Schema' menu item and in the pop-up list select either "25 Mixed 1", "25 Mixed 2", "Only Drones" or "25 Only Strings".

   Tip: These Schemas use the following settings:

   • Auto Text Change After Seconds - Set to On
   • Use Saved Section Text? - Set to On
   • Seconds Between - Set to e.g. 8 seconds
   • Range - Set to e.g. 2 seconds
4. Create and Load an Auto-mix:
   1. Tap the Add Mix File button and then the 'Auto' menu item (the Schema selected above will be shown in brackets to the right of the menu item).
   2. Tap on the Mix File thumbnail to load the mix in Music Mode (Mix).
5. Import your Story:
   1. Tap the Text tab at the bottom of the screen to display the Text Mode screen.
   2. In the top toolbar tap the Saved Text button to display the Saved Text screen.
   3. In the Saved Text screen tap the Actions menu button and select the Replace All Sections from Clipboard option to import your story.
6. Check how your Story will display when the Mix is played:
   • Tap the Display tab at the bottom of the screen to get into Display Mode.
   • In that, tap the Display Mode Show button.
   • Tap the Play button at the bottom of the screen to see how it looks!
7. Make and share a video of your story!

   Wotja operating in Lite mode?

   • You can make and share a 15 second video recording of what you have done to your Auto-Mix, but you will not be able to save any changes to it and you will experience Auto-Timeouts.
   • Go Pro to be able to save changes and remove Auto-Timeouts.
